St Joseph's College Preparatory School is a Catholic School where children of all faiths and denominations are welcomed and encouraged to make an active contribution to the spiritual life of the School
Pupils develop in a caring and vibrant Christian community in which individual talents are recognised and nurtured. They are educated in an atmosphere where Christian values and standards are modelled and taught.
Religious Education is an integral part of the curriculum. The school follows the recommended Portsmouth Diocesan Scheme 'God Matters' in the teaching of Religious Education. During our May Procession, we celebrate with pupils who have made their First Communion in their local parish church.
All pupils are expected to take part in the religious life of the school, by attending and contributing to assemblies, the celebration of Mass, May Procession and Religious Education. All children are equally valued for what they bring to the school.
